Curly Whiskers is our little French diner in Melbourne’s Bayside suburb of Brighton. This cosy, intimate space is the fulfilment of our desire to create a real food experience.
A restaurant that serves premium meals without pretence and premium price tags.
So why “Curly Whiskers”? We chose a name that suggests the restaurant’s key traits: French, fussy and a little bit quirky.
We are not of French heritage but have chosen a French menu because we are in complete adoration of the cuisine and are devout practitioners of its inherent food philosophy. Rosalin, as the gatekeeper to the restaurant’s kitchen, usually begins the day with a visit to a local market to collect the day’s fresh ingredient requirements. She assesses every ingredient with great care to ensure that only the worthy ones are allowed entry.
Our chef, Silas Orre, has spent the past four years gaining experience in French cuisine. Just look over at the kitchen and you can witness the complete dedication and passion with which he prepares your meals.
Together, Rosalin and Silas have designed a menu that pays tribute to the classic bistro dishes, at times with a unique twist, and complement this with regularly changing specials that reflect the seasons and other culinary inspiration.
Whether it’s your desire to relive the taste of a memorable meal in France or to experience a Curly original, we are the perfect venue for you.
If you have any questions or comments, please speak to us at the restaurant, call on (03) 9596 3324 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for choosing to dine at Curly Whiskers. We do hope your experience is thoroughly enjoyable and that we will see you again very soon.
